Hazelbiz Performers Academy opened it's doors in 2002, offering training in technical subjects such as Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Acrobatics, and also fun classes in StreetDance, Gymnastic-limbering and Adult Dancercise. The emphasis is always on finding a good balance between working hard and having fun.

The academy continues to go from strength to strength, achieving many festival awards, bursaries, scholarship winners, regional and national championship winners, and 100% examination pass rate. We have become a feeder school for numerous renowned ballet institutions including The Royal Ballet School, Northern Ballet Theatre, Elmhurst Ballet School and The Louise Browne Centre for Excellence in Ballet, making us a leading academy in dance training. Pupils often go onto work in professional productions, gaining confidence in their abilities and making new friends.

Places for our fun classes are always sought after, with Pre-School and StreetDance being favourites. We offer ongoing workshops and have had guest teachers from the commercial world including the Director of Hype Dance, Anna Olenjinicki and Emma Fox, and from the WestEnd, including Matthew Croke and Farrah Husain.

Examinations are offered with the I.D.T.A. (International Dance Teachers Association)  Choreography is available for festivals, championships and shows.
